The Quantity block works like the Progress tracking block, with time-based tracking and a dated history.
To add this block, type /quantity then select Quantity.
The block displays a quantity automatically. It is particularly useful for tracking dated workforce counts by company.

Options

Target value

Turn on Target to compare each row’s actual value against an expected one as data comes in — for example, planned headcount against the number actually on site.
  1. Open the action menu .
  2. Click Target.
Each row then shows its target next to the actual value, editable inline. The total also shows the difference between the actual sum and the target.

Export

Copy-paste preserves the data structure for reuse in tools like Excel or ChatGPT.

Create or fill from a list

You can pre-fill a Quantity block using data from an existing Attendance block. Type /quantity in the slash command menu and select Quantity from a list to choose the source list. The block is created with one row per entry in the selected list. To add rows to an existing block, open the row menu and click Add rows from a list.

Archiving

You can archive rows from the row menu .
