Quickly link your notes to a folder or document to keep the notes list manageable. The most efficient workflow: enable the Triage filter to show only unclassified notes, then drag each note onto the right folder in the sidebar.

Sort notes by drag and drop

1

Enable the Triage filter

In the notes list, enable the Triage filter.Only notes with no folder linked are shown.
2

Drag a note onto a folder

Drag a note from the list onto a folder or document in the left navigation sidebar. The sidebar stays visible during the drag.Release directly on the target folder — a confirmation appears.
3

Repeat until the triage is empty

Continue until the Triage view is empty. The main list now shows only sorted notes.
You can also sort a note from its menu, Add to… option, if you prefer searching over drag and drop.

Improve a voice note when linking it

When you link a voice note that already has an AI summary to a folder or document, you’re asked: Improve this note? Choosing Improve note retranscribes the audio using the linked document for context — or, if you linked to a folder, its most recent document — for example the participants from its Attendance block, to recognize names and improve accuracy. The AI summary is regenerated at the same time, giving a more explicit, better-structured note. Choose Not now to keep the note as it is.

Remove a note from a folder

Open the menu on the note, then choose Remove from “[folder name]”.

Sort folders in the sidebar

By default, folders follow the manual order you set by drag and drop. To sort them automatically instead:
  1. Hover the folder list header in the sidebar and click .
  2. Choose a sort mode: name (A–Z or Z–A), date created (newest or oldest first), or date updated (newest or oldest first).
Drag-and-drop reordering is only available in Manual order.
The sort mode you choose is personal and saved to your account.
