Every plan includes a monthly document allowance shared by the entire organization. It is not multiplied by the number of users.

Allowance by plan

For current prices and the full feature comparison, see Pricing.

Shared across the organization

Every document created or restored by a member is deducted from the same allowance. There is no individual quota and no charge per member, guest, or recipient. Adding people may cause the shared allowance to be used faster, but it does not change the subscription price.

Monthly renewal date

The allowance renews every month on the anniversary date of the original subscription. If the subscription started on September 12, a new allowance becomes available on the 12th of every month. Unused documents do not roll over to the next cycle.
An annual subscription is paid upfront for twelve months, but the document allowance still renews monthly. The twelve monthly allowances are not granted at once.

Track usage

When the organization reaches 80% of its allowance, an indicator appears in the navigation. It shows the number of documents used against the plan limit and includes activity from all members.

When the allowance is reached

At 100%, the organization cannot create or restore another document. No automatic overage is charged. You can still:
  • view, edit, share, and sign existing documents;
  • add recipients and attachments;
  • use text, photo, and voice notes;
  • use transcription and AI enhancements.
To create another document, either wait for the monthly renewal, free a unit by moving an active document to Trash, or upgrade to a plan with a higher allowance.

Increase the allowance

There does not sell one-time document packs and does not charge automatic overages. Upgrading is the way to increase the included volume. An upgrade takes effect immediately. The higher allowance and included features become available at once, and the price difference is charged on a prorated basis for the remaining billing period. See Change your plan or billing cycle.
