there.do has three roles: admin, member, and guest.

| Access to team folders | On invitation | On invitation | On invitation |
Once invited to a team folder, admins, members, and guests have the same access rights to the documents in that folder.
Team folders a user has not been invited to are completely hidden from them.
Guests and notes: a guest can create notes. By default, their visibility is set to organisation (organisation members can read them), but the guest can switch it to private. Guests cannot see notes created by others. See Note visibility and sharing.
Invite members
- Open the Members tab in your organisation settings.
- Click Invite.
- Enter or paste email addresses.
- Select a role: admin, member, or guest.
Automatic domain-based invitation
This feature is available on the Business plan.
An admin can configure a domain name so that new sign-ups from that domain automatically join the organisation.
Activation requires access to the domain’s DNS settings to verify ownership. Once verified, two modes are available:
- Automatic: any user signing up with that domain joins the organisation directly.
- With approval: the admin must approve each new membership request.
