# Compose message

> Customise the email subject and body, with AI suggestions

Before sending, customise the subject and the message accompanying your
document.

## Subject

The subject defaults to the document title. You can edit it freely.

## Message body

The body supports rich formatting:

* Type `/` to access formatting commands (headings, lists, etc.)
* Select text to access options: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, colour,
  alignment
* Use the same shortcuts as in the document editor

## AI suggestions

Press **space** in the body to trigger AI suggestions. Four modes are available:

| Mode               | Usage                                                       |
| ------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Spark interest     | Reframe the message to capture the recipient's attention    |
| Key points         | Extract the essential points from the document as a list    |
| Professional email | Generate a formal message suited to a client send           |
| Team message       | Generate a short message suited to an internal distribution |
