# Table

> Organise information in rows and columns with formatting options

The Table block organises information in an editable grid.

  To add this block, type `/table` then select

## Add rows and columns

Click **+** to add a row or column.

Then reorder them by drag and drop.

## Row and column options

Click <Icon icon="ellipsis-vertical" size={16} /> (row) or <Icon icon="ellipsis" size={16} /> (column) to access options.

* **Row header** / **Column header**
* **Duplicate row**
* **Text formatting**
* **Text alignment**
* **Colour**

## Table style

Each cell, row, and column can be styled individually using the options described above.

For global table appearance — border colour, border width, and table style — use the [document style](/features/document/style) settings. These apply to all tables in the document at once.
