# Signature

> Collect signatures and lock the document at the right moment

The Signature block lets you define a simple signing workflow.

  To add this block, type `/signature` then select
  <Icon icon="signature" size={16} /> **Signature**.

## Signatory information

For each signatory, fill in:

* Name
* Email
* Optional mention (example: Approved)

## Document behaviour

Once the document is sent, as soon as the first signatory signs, the document
is locked.

The status then follows this progression:

* Awaiting signature
* Partially signed
* Signed
