# Indicators

> Make key figures stand out from the text

The Indicators block shows up to three key figures side by side: progress, workforce, amounts, delays. Each indicator has a short label, the figure in large type, and an optional line of context.

> [!NOTE]
>
> To add this block, type `/indicators` then select
> **Indicators**.

## Editing

* Type the figure as you want it read, unit included: `42`, `68 %`, `€1.2M`, `12 / 40`. Select text to format it (bold, italic, colour, superscript…).
* Press `Enter` to go from the label to the figure, then to the context line, then to the next indicator.
* The block starts with one indicator. Hover the block and click **+ Add an indicator** in the free slot next to the last one, up to three per block. For more figures, add a second Indicators block below.
* Hover an indicator and click **×** to remove it, or press `Backspace` in an empty indicator. Removing the last one removes the block.
* A field left empty is not shown in the PDF.

## Appearance

Each indicator has its own colour, as a callout: hover it and click to pick one, for instance green when on track and red for an alert. The figure always takes the colour; **Fill**, **Outline** and **Text** also give it to the card and its text. By default, figures use the primary colour of the document style.

Each indicator takes a third of the row, so blocks line up with each other. To align the text of a field, select it and pick the alignment in the text menu. On a narrow screen, indicators show two per row; the PDF always keeps them on one row.

> [!TIP]
>
> When you prepare the next document, the indicators keep their values: update
> only the figures that changed.
