# Images

> Create photo galleries and control their layout

The Images block lets you add individual photos or galleries.

  To add this block, type `/images` then select
  <Icon icon="images" /> **Images**.

## Create a gallery

Drag and drop one image onto another to create a gallery.

## Available options

* Show or hide the caption <Icon icon="message-square" />
* Centre the image <Icon icon="minimize" /> or fill the frame <Icon icon="maximize" />
* Choose the layout:
  * Automatic
  * Thumbnails
  * 1, 2, 3 or 4 columns
* Choose the ratio:
  * Portrait
  * Landscape
  * Square
  * Panoramic

## Crop and rotate

Click <Icon icon="crop" size={16} /> on an image to open the editing toolbar.

* **Crop** — drag the handles to trim the image.
* **Rotate left / Rotate right** — rotate the image 90° in either direction.

Changes are saved when you confirm the crop.

## View, share, and delete on mobile

In the mobile app, tap an image to open it full screen.

* Pinch to zoom, and swipe to browse through the gallery.
* Tap <Icon icon="ellipsis" size={16} /> to **share** the image or **delete**
  it from the note.

## Export

A button lets you download all images in a gallery in a single action.
