# Columns

> Lay out content in two columns

The Columns block splits content into two side-by-side columns.

  To add this block, type `/columns` then select
  <Icon icon="columns-2" size={16} /> **Columns**.

## Alignment

Each column can be aligned independently:

* <Icon icon="panel-left" size={16} /> Left
* <Icon icon="columns-2" size={16} /> Centre
* <Icon icon="panel-right" size={16} /> Right
